Building Regulations
Building regulations run in a series from Part A to Part P and prescribe guidlines for all aspects of construction, and the safe and functioning of dwellings. As energy assessors we are focused on Part L of the building regulations, titled the conservation of fuel and power. This document has been evolving rapidly since 2002, and legislates on the energy efficiency of domestic buildings. Through SAP analysis, SAP documentation is prouced and submitted to building control as evidence.
All approved documents are available for download below, with each link relating directly to that found on the Planning Portal website.
Please also see our free Part L technical guide for a detailed explanation of SAP 2009 and Part L 2010.
